We are looking for a twelve (12) month contract full-time Specialist, Recruitment. As a key member of the Humane Resources team, you will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to attract, identify, hire top talent and partnering closely with hiring managers.

We are looking for a twelve (12) month contract full-time Specialist, Recruitment. As a key member of the Humane Resources team, you will be reporting to the Senior Manager, Human Resources. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle to attract, identify, hire top talent and partnering closely with hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned roles
- Develop and execute effecting sourcing strategies, including leveraging job boards, social media, networking, and talent databases
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and selection criteria to develop a strong pipeline of qualified candidates
- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on interview best practices, selection decisions, and hiring processes
- Create job advertisement and post jobs across internal and external platforms, ensuring accuracy and alignment with Firm standards
- Assist with the development of job descriptions
- Screen resumes, conduct pre‑screen interviews, and recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers
- Coordinate and facilitate all interviews, assessments, and background checks
- Ensure a positive and consistent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS), as well as recruitment metrics and reporting
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation, company policies, and recruitment best practices
- Support implementation of recruitment technologies, process improvements, and best practices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in a talent acquisition
- Experience in a law firm or professional services firm is an asset
- Knowledge of full cycle recruitment and best practices
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Adobe
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems or HCM systems
- Discretion, confidentiality and attention to detail are essential
- A team player who takes initiative and works well independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent client service and ability to anticipate client needs
